The UMZU Cares Foundation is based on the guiding principles of purpose, innovation, sustainability, and authenticity. With these guiding principles the UMZU Cares Foundation helps to:
- Improve and expand health and wellness education and resources to marginalized communities.
- Improve and expand sustainability practices, education, and research to protect the natural resources of the future.
- Provide funding to research innovative and alternative methods to improving health and wellness.
We strive to help people where they are at, from providing kids with educational resources to working with local gardens to help support the expansion of access to fresh and nutritious food. We are here to help people first and foremost.
Without a healthy environment we, ourselves, are not going to be healthy. This is why sustainability is one of the initiatives at the top of our list.
The UMZU Cares Foundation does not profit in any way, shape, or form from the funds we have or from the organizations that we work with. Outside of our fees to keep the foundation running we dedicate all of our funds to helping progress our initiatives for change.
Is the UMZU Cares Foundation a 501c3 registered non-profit?
As of April 14th 2023 the UMZU Cares Foundation has been granted 501c3 status!
Who Does The UMZU Cares Foundation Work With?
The UMZU Cares Foundation works with other 501c3 non-profits that are responsibly using resources to improve the health and wellness of people and planet. When working with organizations we move with caution to ensure our brand reputation remains in tact, and that we align with the organizations values. Once our relationships are built, we believe in working with a trust based approach to avoid overreaching and to allow the organizations to do what they set out to do without having to jump through hoops to get it done.
